In the art of archery in today's modern age, aside from the bow and arrows, there are a lot more equipment that an archer considered as necessities. Archery accessories varies from arrow rests, peep sights, release aids, quivers, and others. We will discuss some of them later. |

These equipments or archery accessories are needed since each of them serves a purpose and is a great help for the archer. Arrow Rests. Its main purpose is to act as support by holding the arrow in position until it is released. Some types of arrow rests are the drop away arrow rests, springy rests, bow fishing rests, and a lot more kinds. |

(...continuation) Quiver. It is usually a pouch that holds the arrows that is often worn by the archer, or is situated near his waist. Although there is another type which is the ground quiver, in which the latter serves the same purpose, but it is made from steel rod and is pierced into the ground. Strings. The string or more commonly known as bowstring is the string that is attached to the bow, and is the one that is pulled back by the archer in propelling the arrow. Bowstrings are usually made from synthetic polymer, and a combination of Kevlar or Dacron. Aside from the items discussed above, other kinds of archery accessories are the release aids, finger tabs, bow slings, arm guards, etc. |
